1. One at a time. Learn a new word this week and learn how to use it proper.
2. Add a second word to your vocabulary and how to use it the next week. Repeat the first one you learned the previous week.

✓ Same time is key. Try learning new words in the evening after dinner. That way, you will have time to see their application in books or on TV
✓ Set yourself a trigger. Put your large vocabulary in a visible place for when you get back home

✓ Reward yourself. After 1 month, treat yourself to a movie or go out to party and use your newly acquired vocabulary. Celebrate your efforts, you deserve it!

✓ Synonymous and equivalent. Notice you are using certain words very often? Try finding synonyms for that word as your new word of the day.
✓ Use, don’t abuse. Although it might be very tempting to use the new word you learned immediately, always think if it fits the social context. You wouldn’t wish to miff someone that doesn’t know the word.
✓ It means what it means. A lot of time after learning a new word, it seemingly pops up everywhere and you use it more often. Be sure that when you are using it, you are doing so proper,
