Benefits of habit “Prepare for next day”

✓ Reduces stress from morning rush
✓ Increases your organizational skills
✓ Makes more time for proper breakfast
✓ Helps reduce anxiety

First step:

Once a week

Progress:

1. In the evening, put out all the clothes and items you will need the next day in one place, so they would be ready for you in the morning. Do this once this week.
2. Next week, do this for two evenings. Make sure it matches your day’s schedule.
3. Keep increasing, until you prep your gear every evening before going out the next day.

Helpful tips to make it a habit:

✓ Same time is key. Make your preparations at the same time every evening, before going to bed. That way, it will turn into habit much faster.
✓ Trigger your mind. Have a large note with the words “PREP YOUR GEAR” somewhere visible all the time, maybe next to your wardrobe or drawers. That way, your mind will always be aware of what you need to do.
✓ Let the app help. If you set a reminder, it will ring for when it’s time to prep for the next day.
✓ Reward yourself. Once you’ve gone full two weeks of prepping your attire and items every day, reward yourself by learning a new breakfast recipe and start making it in the time you’d usually run around like a headless chicken. Enjoy the stress-free morning.
✓ Celebrate small victories. Every time you perform this habit, congratulate yourself! Say “I’m awesome” or “I’m so cool” out loud and with a smile on your face.

Tips for beginners:

✓ Track your schedule. If you have many activities after your work or school, make sure you prepare for all of them and line out all the necessary items. It can be clothing, but also gym gear, dancing shoes, certain books for school.
✓ Check the weather. Sometimes our plans can be thwarted by weather, but it’s much less likely to happen if you check tomorrow’s forecast. Prep your clothes accordingly.
